Muscle Fuel
This study of muscle development in fruit flies reveals that microtubules of the cytoskeleton (a cell's inner scaffold of specialised proteins) bring myofibrils (the protein complexes within muscle cells that confer contractile properties) into close contact with mitochondria which provide the energy for muscle building
