Stabilising Tubes
Reduction in levels of a cellular protein called EPHB6 is known to associated with spread in different types of cancers. This study shows that interaction of this protein with its partner protein on other cells promotes formation of tubes between the cells (visible in this image) and reduces the cancer cells' invasive properties
