Epi-Placenta

This mouse study shows how epigenetic (genetic activity-modifying) mechanisms influenced by blood flow regulate zonal gene expression controlling development and distribution of vessels (vascularisation) in the placenta. A critical role is revealed for the epigenetic modifier Dnmt3a
