Beneficial Buildup
A mouse model of a childhood neurodegenerative disorder caused by a lack of a protein called AMPD2 not only reveals degeneration of neurons but also, presenting a possible route of therapeutic intervention, that certain types of neuron are protected by a build up of filaments of a protein called IMPDH2
